Visiting Gregory Bald in June used to be a tradition of mine and is one I hope to start again. The Flaming Azalea, a hybrid, blooms on Gregory Bald in late June. The valley below in the distance is Cades Cove. The flaming Azalea is typically in full bloom around the summer solstice.
